My research group focuses on synthetic medicinal chemistry to lead optimize the structure of anti-cancer agents. Currently, we develop dual tubulin and HSP27 inhibitors based on COX-2 inhibitor Nimesulide as a lead compound. In addition, we collaborate with Drs. Monica Montano and Bingcheng Wang to optimize HMBA and EphA2 agonist as anti-cancer agents.
