Research Interests
Dr. Schwartzman is primarily interested in head and neck and genitourinary oncology. She is currently looking into the relationship between prostate cancer and metabolic syndrome (weight, DM, hypercholesterolemia, etc) as well as use of different glucose- and/or lipid-lowering drugs by doing a retrospective review of charts of patients with prostate cancer diagnosed and treated at MetroHealth in the last five years.
