Research Interests
Dr. Egler’s clinical research interest is in the treatment of pediatric solid tumors, including neuroblastoma, sarcomas, germ cell tumors and other rare pediatric cancers. She currently is part of a Children’s Oncology Group clinical trial committee on the treatment of children with germ cell tumors, a unique type of tumor most common in infants and teens ages 15–19. She is Primary Investigator on an outcomes study of children with sacrococcygeal teratomas, a type of germ cell tumor.
