In moments of crisis, poetry offers a powerful lens through which to process grief, resilience, and meaning. Explore poems written in the aftermath of October 7th, engaging them not only as personal and communal expressions, but as part of a longer tradition of Jewish poetic responses to catastrophe. Learn how poets grapple with trauma, memory, and hope, and how the act of translation shapes our understanding of both language and loss.
All poems will be provided in translation.
