Dafna Ben Yosef is an adjunct instructor in the Department of Bioethics at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ and serves as the full-time Director of Jewish Lifelong Learning at the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program at CWRU. She also holds a part-time Faculty appointment in the Department of Theology and Religious Studies at John Carroll University, where she teaches courses in healthcare ethics and social justice.

Dafna earned a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Technion Institute of Technology, Israel, a Master of Arts in Bioethics from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. Prior to joining CWRU, Dafna worked in medical research as well as taught at Universities and Colleges in and out the States. 

Her academic and professional interests focus on the ethical and moral dimensions at the nexus of health and medicine, religion, and the environment.
