PQHS Professors Iyengar and Trapl Appointed to Endowed Chairs

Iyengar and Trapl

Two PQHS faculty have recently been appointed to endowed chairs! Dr. Sudha Iyengar, Professor and Vice Chair for Research, has been appointed as the Frederick C. Robbins, M.D. Professor in Child and Adolescent Health. Dr. Erika Trapl, Professor and Director of the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods, has been appointed as the Philip and Mary Wenclaw Professor [for the study and research into the cause and prevention of cancer].

Receiving an endowed chair is one of the highest honors the University provides, and these appointments recognize the dedication to, and success of, their outstanding research.

Congratulations to both Sudha and Erika on their appointments!
