Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield’s contract with and provides laboratory testing services at reduced or no cost to Anthem health plan participants.
Anthem Blue Access PPO plan participants: There is no employee cost share when using LabCorp or Quest Diagnostics. That means no deductible, no co-payment and no co-insurance.
Anthem High Deductible plan participants: Any laboratory services received still are subject to deductible and co-insurance. However, because Anthem has negotiated lower rates with LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics, those on the high-deductible plan can minimize out-of-pocket expenses by using the services of these companies.
The provider directory on the Anthem website does not yet contain all of the available locations. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ employees can make an appointment at a facility by visiting the companies’ websites directly and can ask their doctors’ offices to refer them to a preferred lab when sent for testing.
