The Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence at ӰƵ will host a Conversations on JUSTICE series event with a discussion on the ethical dimensions of climate change.
David Suzuki, 2012 Inamori Ethics Prize winner and a legendary environmental activist, Hans Cole, director of campaigns and advocacy for Patagonia Inc., and local environmental leaders will have a discussion on the topic of Climate JUSTICE, which will be live-streamed Friday, Feb. 26, from 12:45 to 2 p.m. EST. The event is live, free and open to the public.
The community panelists will be:
- Jacqueline Gillon, community engagement specialist and diversity coordinator of thriving communities with Western Reserve Land Conservancy and Black Environmental Leaders co-leader;
- Ina Martin, operations director of the Materials for Opto/electronics Research and Education (MORE) Center; and
- Stephanie Corbett, director of energy and sustainability and interim University Farm director.
