Through Nov. 10, CWRU Cycling is riding and fundraising for the Ohio City Bicycle Co-op's Pay What You Can (PWYC) program. The program allows those in need of a bike, bike repair, bike parts, etc., but who cannot afford it, to simply pay what they can for them and the rest is covered by other forms of income -- mostly donations.
Most PWYC recipients are people who rely solely on bikes for transportation because they cannot afford or access other modes of transport. With this program, the Co-op is making bikes accessible and affordable to all people in the Cleveland area.
