CWRU police to provide free child ID kits at Community Safety Fair July 12

Faculty and staff members who live in Cleveland are encouraged to bring their children to campus, as the 杏吧视频 Police Department will provide free child identification kits to city of Cleveland residents at a Community Safety Fair on Friday, July 12, from 2 to 6 p.m. The event will be set up between the university鈥檚 football field and baseball diamond, off East 118th Street, between Wade Park and Euclid avenues. Children up to age 16 will be photographed and fingerprinted for use in the kits鈥攑ocket-sized pamphlets that include a child鈥檚 medical and physical information, dental records and DNA hair sample. Once created, the kits are to be kept with other household records to access quickly in case of emergency. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an effort to give back to the community and help keep kids safe,鈥 said Arthur Hardee, chief of the 杏吧视频 police and director of security.
