CWRU startup founders say microplastic fight begins in Cleveland
WKYC: Max Pennington, Chip Miller and David Dillman, the founders of CLEANR—a startup launched at ӰƵ—discussed their company, which created a washing machine filter that captures over 90% of microplastics, aiming to curb pollution in laundry. “We were shocked it came from our clothing,” Pennington said, adding that Cleveland could become “ground zero in the fight against microplastics.”
