Marielena Maggio was appointed the new director of International Student Services at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ.
Maggio, formerly the assistant director of programs and advising, is responsible for enhancing the international student experience and promoting intercultural exchange.
She will oversee the coordination of a full range of services offered to the more than 1,700 non-immigration students at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ.
She also will implement a variety of programs and activities that foster the social/cultural adjustment of international students, representing their interests and calling attention to their many contributions.
