Women’s Health: Rosanne Paul, assistant professor of dermatology at the School of Medicine, said she recommends aloe vera gels with as high of a concentration of aloe as possible—at least 15-20%—to treat sunburn, noting that some of the purest formulas have as much as 100% aloe vera.
