Each November, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ and institutions around the country celebrate International Education Week in recognition of international education and global exchange. This year, events will be held on campus Nov. 12-16 for International Education Week. Throughout November, we will highlight statistics related to internationalization at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ to mark the celebration.
For some students, an education at ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ goes well beyond the borders of Cleveland. With help from the Office of Education Abroad, their education takes them to locales across the globe.
During the 2017-18 year, 30 percent of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ undergraduates studied abroad, compared to 16 percent nationally, according to the Institute of International Education’s .
The majority (59 percent) of CWRU students participated in a faculty-led experience, while 24 percent spent a year or semester abroad and 17 percent spent a summer abroad.
