Feeding the circle: a conversation with Wampanoag chef Sherry Pocknett
Join James Beard Award-winning Wampanoag Chef Sherry Pocknett in conversation with artist M. Carmen Lane, founder and director of ATNSC: Center for Healing and Creative Leadership. Together, they will explore Indigenous foodways and storytelling through practice, experimentation and learning, viewed through the Baker-Nord Institute’s fall programming theme of “Encounters.” This theme explores how encounters challenge assumptions, generate new meanings and transform individuals and societies.
will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Tinkham Veale University Center, Senior Classroom.
