National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine: John L. Anderson, former ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ provost and executive vice president, was recently nominated as president of the National Academy of Engineering. The academy’s 2019 nominating committee recommended Anderson as the sole nominee for the position, and organization members will vote in March 2019.
