To celebrate ӰƵ and the new , the Institute for the Science of Origins and Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern will host “Science Slam” Aug. 29, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
The event will feature five- to 10-minute slam talks by professors on topics ranging from zombies, human evolution, the big bang, augmented reality, genetic adaptions and more.
There will be games, prizes and t-shirts.
