Help volunteer with Kids Against Hunger’s (KAH) next semi-annual food packing event Sunday, March 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Fribley Multipurpose Lounge, Room 204.
KAH works with local partners in Cleveland to pack and distribute highly nutritious, vitamin-fortified soy-rice casserole. Set-up volunteers will help unload the meals from the truck, set-up tables, and help get the room ready for the packaging event. Some heavy lifting may be required. Volunteers on the assembly line will help with a variety of tasks associated with packaging the meals. Tasks might include mixing ingredients, weighing the packages, and sealing the packages.
