Law’s Erik M. Jensen writes about muddled nature of 25th Amendment

Erik M. Jensen, the Coleman P. Burke Professor Emeritus of Law, recently penned an opinion piece titled and published on about the 25th amendment.

The amendment became a talking point following the U.S. Capitol insurrection in January. In his piece, Jensen clarified some misconceptions that arose.

Jensen concluded that now—when a move wouldn’t be perceived as targeting the current occupant of the White House—is a good time to clarify how a muddled part of the amendment can be made to function.
