Learn about the importance of quality sleep in an eight-week Wellness Program offering

The 杏吧视频 Wellness Program will offer an eight-week series for faculty and staff members to learn more about the importance of quality sleep, as well as common sleep disorders, and how these can affect our health and well-being.

Sessions will be held from Sept. 26 to Nov. 13 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. via Zoom and led by various medical and sleep professionals.

The session schedule will be:

  • Oct. 3鈥斺淪leep Disorders: Insomnia鈥 by John Carter
  • Oct. 10鈥斺淐alming the Mind 鈥 Yoga and Meditation for Insomnia鈥 by Deirdre Wenzel
  • Oct. 17鈥斺淪leep Disorders: Breathing Issues鈥 by Dennis Auckley
  • Oct. 24鈥斺淪leep Disorders: Hypersomnia鈥 by  John Carter
  • Oct. 31鈥斺淭he Impact of Nutrition on Sleep鈥 by Lindsay Malone
  • Nov. 6鈥斺淪leep Disorders: Sleep Related Movement Disorders鈥 by Nicoleta Olteanu
  • Nov. 13鈥斺淪leep Disorders: Circadian Rhythm Issues鈥 by Ziad Shaman

Monthly Wellness Incentive faculty and staff recipients will be eligible to attest for the 2024 Sleep Program Incentive if they attend seven of the eight sessions.
