Beginning fall semester, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ will offer a new living space that will operate as an intentional living community dedicated to sustainability. Sustainability House—as it is being referred to—is open to upperclassmen and select sophomore students.
The Office of Residence Life will make exceptions for accepted students to leave their on-campus fall housing commitments.
Up to 10 students will be selected based on their online applications.
The cohort of students will work together to:
- Establish the culture of the house through green lifestyle commitments;
- Identify and propose upgrades to make the residence more sustainable (i.e. energy, water efficient, etc.); and
- Keep data on sustainability metrics.
