The university community is invited to the book release celebration for the late U.S. Congressman Louis Stokes’ autobiography, .
The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences will host the event in its Noble Commons Tuesday, Oct. 4, at 4:30 p.m.
Stokes’ daughter, Lori Stokes, and other Stokes family members will read from and discuss the book, along with Mandel School faculty members.
A reception will follow the remarks and readings. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing by Lori Stokes.
