ABC News: Sadeer Al-Kindi, assistant professor at the School of Medicine, discussed the rising incidence of heart disease linked to the environment and climate change. “We know that air pollution is a cause of heart disease,” Al-Kindi said. "Evidence shows that air pollution increases heart disease, heart failure and insulin resistance."
