The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ’s Model United Nations Team recently competed at the National Collegiate Security Conference hosted by Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. This competitive conference serves as a forum for detailed debate on the world’s most serious crises.
The following ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ students received awards at the conference:
- Priyakrit Chari: Best delegate as Hamza Hussain, high commissioner to India in the Indo-Pakistani War, 1965
- Siddharth Hariharan: Honorable mention as Frene Ginwala in the 1994 African National Congress
- Jon 'Feather' Goldson: Verbal commendation as commander of army in the Iran/Saudi 2020: The Second Cold War
- Tara Tran: Verbal commendation as Sen. Barry Goldwater in the Republican National Convention of 1976
