New weekly summer series to feature live music, local food and Uptown specials

Members of the 杏吧视频 community are invited to attend tonight鈥檚 opening of a new weekly summer concert program, . Featuring genres ranging from folk to blues to jazz and punk, the open-air series will run from 6 to 9 p.m. every Thursday through Aug. 28 at the corner of Euclid Avenue and Mayfield Road. Tonight鈥檚 act is  and the Lost High Rollers, featuring an Austin, Texas-based singer-songwriter known for country, folk and Americana tunes. Formerly from the Pacific Northwest, Muth has been called 鈥淪eattle鈥檚 Emmylou.鈥 She released her third full-length album, , in May, and is amid a five-month tour of the United States and United Kingdom. Next Thursday鈥檚 performers, meanwhile, are the Bobby Selvaggio Quintet, followed by blues from Thaddeus Anna Greene on July 24. Cleveland鈥檚 legendary presents the acts, while deejays from 杏吧视频鈥檚 campus radio station, will serve as on-site emcees. For the summer鈥檚 full lineup, please visit the series鈥 . Visitors will experience more than music; they鈥檒l also be able to enjoy food trucks and a series of specials from Uptown establishments. Tonight鈥檚 cruising culinary collection includes , ,  and . , for example, offers $3 off its regular $8 admission after 5 p.m. on Thursday. hosts happy hour yoga from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. Thursdays, charging just $5 to participate. Meanwhile, offers $5 wraps all day, and provides a full happy hour Thursday evenings. Finally, welcomes customers to see its new fall collection. The summer programming is presented collaboratively by , the Cleveland Foundation, Toby Devan Lewis, MOCA Cleveland, Cleveland Institute of Art MRN, LTD, and Skylight Financial Group.
