Join the Graduate Studies Professional Development Center for an information session and panel discussion on the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP). The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions. A panel discussion will be held Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room, featuring:

• Three current CWRU student NSF GRFP awardees;
• Two faculty members who have served on national review panels; and
• The director of the CWRU Writing Center.

The fellowship awardees will talk about their experiences in applying for the grant, who they talked to, what they learned through the process and more. The faculty will discuss what reviewers are looking for in the grant application. In addition, the Writing Resource Center will be on hand to answer questions about fellowship application writing and to provide information on additional writing support. Lunch will be served.
