This week’s Faculty Friday event for students will feature a casual discussion on climate March 18 from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the Happy Dog. Peter Shulman, associate professor of history, will present "Energy and Climate in American History.” Shulman studies technology, science and American politics in the 19^th and 20th centuries, with special interests in the history of:

• Energy;
• Environment;
• Communication;
• Transportation;
• Intelligence; and
• American foreign relations.

He teaches courses in the history of technology, energy and the environment, historical methods and contemporary history. Shulman is behind the Twitter account , which has gone viral. The Greek Life Office sponsors the Faculty Friday series.
