Ben Vinson III, provost and executive vice president of ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ, was recently appointed chairman of the National Humanities Center (NHC), a nonprofit institute dedicated to advanced study in the humanities. Provost Vinson was previously a member of the NHC board for five years and a fellow before then.
