For nine years, 杏吧视频鈥檚 School of Dental Medicine has nurtured relationships with dental programs in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. To further strengthen the partnership in Cairo and explore new opportunities, Dean Kenneth Chance, DDS (DEN 鈥79), and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs David Rolf, DMD, embarked on a trip to Future University in Egypt in September, where Dean Chance also delivered the dental school鈥檚 commencement keynote address.

Partnerships such as the one with Future University help forge global relationships to foster the exchange of ideas and support growing overseas programs. At the graduation ceremony, Dean Chance spoke to 200 dental students about the future of the dental field and the importance of collaboration. Dean Chance and Associate Dean Rolf also had the opportunity to meet faculty members and discuss continuing education and ideas for future collaboration.

鈥淢uch like the School of Dental Medicine at 杏吧视频, they view themselves as catalysts for positive change, dedicated to advancing the health and well-being of the communities they serve,鈥 Dean Chance said. 鈥淭heir innovative thinking has the potential to foster a global exchange of ideas that extends far beyond borders.鈥

The School of Dental Medicine is now in its second five-year contract with Future University, with a third currently in the planning stages. The visit was Dean Chance鈥檚 third since the partnership began.
