The Schubert Center for Child Studies presents “The Bridge to Somewhere: How Research Made Its Way into Juvenile Justice Reform in Ohio.” The event, which will be held Oct. 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Mandel Center for Nonprofit Organizations room 115, will focus on strategies, challenges and future opportunities in supporting research-informed policymaking in the context of juvenile justice reform.
Featured speakers are Gabriella Celeste, director of child policy at the Schubert Center for Child Studies; Marcia Egbert, senior program officer for human services at The George Gund Foundation; and Patrick Kanary, director of the Center for Innovative Practices at CWRU’s Begun Center for Violence Prevention.
