The Center for Civic Engagement & Learning's (CCEL) annual Spring Saturday of Service is Saturday, April 13. This opportunity is open to all ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ students. This day of service features on- and off-campus projects throughout the day. Transportation will be via walking, public transit or CCEL minivan. All projects will be led by a CCEL-trained student leader.
Activities include:
- Helping prepare organization grounds for spring planting;
- Reorganizing storage areas;
- Removing trash and debris from a neighborhood corridor;
- Packing meals for children experiencing hunger; and
- Sorting and packing books for children to read.
The registration deadline is Thursday, April 11. Spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
