Members of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ community are invited to the next Think Forum event with Elizabeth Kolbert, who will give the F. Joseph Callahan Distinguished Lecture Wednesday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Silver Hall at the Maltz Performing Arts Center.

Kolbert is the author of The New York Times bestseller Field Notes from a Catastrophe: Man, Nature, and Climate Change; The Sixth Extinction, for which she won a Pulitzer Prize; and Under the White Sky: The Nature of the Future

For her work at The New Yorker, where she’s been a staff writer since 1999, she has received two National Magazine Awards, a National Academies Communication Award and the Blake-Dodd Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Her latest book, H is for Hope was published this spring. Kolbert is also a visiting fellow at Williams College in Massachusetts.Admission is free, but tickets are required.
