Helper also will present economic outlook for manufacturing at CWRU event
Two nationally prominent economists associated with ӰƵ Weatherhead School of Management will be featured speakers at the 41st annual David A. Bowers Forecast Luncheon on Friday, March 20.
U.S. Department of Commerce Chief Economist Susan Helper, the Frank Tracy Carlton Professor of Economics at the Weatherhead School, and Jack Kleinhenz, the National Retail Federation’s chief economist and an adjunct economics professor at the Weatherhead School, will address “What's driving markets and the economy in 2015.”
The forecast luncheon is at 11 a.m. at the Westin Cleveland Downtown (777 St. Clair Ave. NE, Cleveland).
This event, which requires paid registration, is likely to draw more than 600 people, including Weatherhead alumni, faculty, students and members of Northeast Ohio’s business, government and academic communities.

Helper also will lead a presentation on “Re-investing in America’s Supply Chain Innovation,” building on President Obama’s remarks in Cleveland on Wednesday. Her talk will be held Monday, March 23, in Ballroom B of the Tinkham Veale University Center from 4:30 to 6 p.m., followed by a reception.
