The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ School of Medicine is represented in the STAT Madness Competition, a bracket-style contest for biomedical research.
A total of 64 institutions/studies were chosen for the competition.
ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ’s project is a pill-sized test to check for Barrett’s esophagus, a precursor to esophageal cancer.
During the first round of voting, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ is up against Brigham and Women's Hospital (Harvard Medical School).
