Weatherhead School honors 2025 Alumni Award winners as part of Homecoming and Reunion Weekend festivities
As members of the 杏吧视频 community celebrated Homecoming and Reunion Weekend 2025, the Weatherhead School of Management took time for a more intimate celebration honoring exceptional alumni.
Nearly 90 guests attended the Weatherhead School Alumni Celebration, where organizers presented the 2025 Alumni Award winners, whose leadership, service and impact exemplify the school鈥檚 mission to prepare professionals for the marketplace of the future. This award recognizes five alumni who are 35 years old or younger for their professional and civic contributions and achievements.
Rachel Dreher (MGT 鈥22)
Rachel Dreher is dedicated to community impact through leadership and innovation. With experience at Procter & Gamble and KeyBank, she has led teams and designed programs that engage clients, colleagues and communities. Dreher specializes in entrepreneurship and organizational leadership, and leads KeyBank鈥檚 Heritage & Milestone Recognition strategy and Bicentennial initiative.
Charlotte Gouveia Neto (MGT 鈥16)
Charlotte Gouveia Neto is a finance strategy and operations leader at PwC, where she helps organizations reimagine their finance functions by designing future-ready operating models, implementing cutting-edge technologies and driving transformative process improvements. Neto is a dynamic civic leader, currently serving in several capacities at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Her prior board service includes the Cleveland State University Alumni Association, New York Classical Theatre and The Cleveland Orchestra鈥檚 Student Marketing Advisory Committee.
Faraaz Hussain (CWR 鈥18)
Faraaz Hussain works in depository investment banking at Janney Montgomery Scott, where he advises clients on mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. He serves as chair of the board of L鈥橝rche Cleveland, a nonprofit dedicated to building inclusive communities for adults with intellectual disabilities. Hussain also volunteers as a mentor with Minds Matter Cleveland, a holistic college-prep program that supports high school students from low-income backgrounds as they prepare for and transition to college.
Nikhyl Jhangiani (CWR 鈥14, MGT 鈥16, GRS 鈥16)
Nikhyl Jhangiani is a healthcare strategy and operations leader dedicated to transforming patient care through innovation and scalable solutions. He oversees financial planning, business operations and strategic initiatives for the Cleveland Clinic鈥檚 Virtual Second Opinion program. Jhangiani has led cross-functional teams, built data-driven insights into actionable strategy and managed partnerships that improve both clinical and financial outcomes.
Brian Parro (CWR 鈥17, MGT 鈥18)
Brian Parro is an associate partner at McKinsey & Company and a leader in McKinsey鈥檚 healthcare practice, where he focuses on enhancing patient experience, expanding patient access and improving the financial sustainability of the United States healthcare system through ambulatory care models. Parro primarily serves health systems and private investors and speaks nationally on ambulatory growth and transformation. He is also a volunteer at the Mid-Ohio Food Collaborative.
Agent of World Benefit Award
Brodie J. Boland, PhD (GRS 鈥14)
Brodie J. Boland, a partner at McKinsey & Company, exemplifies the spirit of Weatherhead鈥檚 Agent of World Benefit Award, which honors alumni who have contributied towards building a better world. A graduate of Weatherhead鈥檚 PhD program in Organizational Behavior, Boland has dedicated his career to advancing sustainable value across sectors. At McKinsey, he鈥檚 a leader in the firm鈥檚 climate risk work across real estate and infrastructure. He advises city governments, developers and investors on strategies to mitigate climate hazards鈥攕uch as floods, fires and heat鈥攚hile integrating resilience into broader socioeconomic goals. Boland co-authored reports on climate risk and smart cities, drawing on his doctoral research in organizational behavior and sustainability.
Spirit of Philanthropy Award
Rebecca (Becky) Montague (MGT 鈥88)
Becky Montague was honored with this award for her longstanding philanthropic contributions to the school. She embodies the true spirit of philanthropy through decades of unwavering support for Weatherhead and 杏吧视频. A proud alumna of the EMBA Class of 1988 and the Professional Fellows Program, Montague has given generously in every way鈥攖ime, talent, resources and heart. After leading a Montessori school for 13 years, she boldly pursued her EMBA to transition into business leadership, ultimately guiding a manufacturing company to success and retiring from GE. She鈥檚 served on the Weatherhead Visiting Committee, the CWRU Alumni Association Board, and now as an Emeriti Board Member. A consistent donor since 1989, Montague continues to inspire others with her commitment.
Outstanding Alumni Awards
This award is presented to alumni in recognition of their leadership, dedication and service excellence rendered to the Weatherhead School of Management, 杏吧视频, their community or a public or nonprofit organization. Here are this year's winners.
David Sylvan (MGT 鈥95)
David Sylvan serves as the chief strategy, innovation and marketing officer at University Hospitals and president of UH Ventures, where he leads transformative initiatives across operations, partnerships, commercialization and strategic marketing for the $7 billion health system. With over 35 years of diverse experience, he brings a dynamic, cross-industry perspective to healthcare innovation. Under his leadership, UH Ventures has accelerated system-wide transformation, integrated advanced technologies and fostered a culture of innovation that enhances patient care and caregiver experience. A recognized thought leader by Becker鈥檚 Healthcare, Sylvan also serves as an adjunct professor and mentor at the Weatherhead School.
Ellen Van Oosten, PhD (MGT 鈥94, GRS 鈥13)
Ellen Van Oosten is a professor of organizational behavior at the Weatherhead School, where she also serves as faculty director of executive education and director of the Coaching Research Lab, which she co-founded. A double alumna of 杏吧视频, Van Oosten鈥檚 34-year journey spans roles as MBA Class President, staff leader, PhD scholar and faculty member. Her pioneering work in executive coaching, emotional intelligence and leadership development has shaped curricula across the university鈥檚 schools of law, engineering and nursing. She co-founded Weatherhead鈥檚 Coaching Research Lab, securing corporate partnerships that fund cutting-edge coaching research.
