Proficiency examinations allow highly prepared students in various subjects to earn credit for a ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ course by passing an examination for that course. These examinations are optional, but for students who pass proficiency exams, credit will be indicated on their CWRU transcript with a PR grade. No letter grade is given, and proficiency credit does not count toward GPA calculations. Proficiency credit may be used to satisfy major requirements.
