About the Program

Further your dental career with a Master of Science in Dentistry from ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ School of Dental Medicine. In our program, you’ll earn a specialized certificate to pair with your master’s—choose from endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, or maxillofacial medicine and diagnostic services.

And, you’ll put your skills to use in our new Dental Clinic—a three-story, 132,000-square-foot facility where our dental students treat nearly 19,000 patients each year. You’ll come away from our program prepared for interprofessional research and oral medicine care.

What to Expect

You can complete your master’s in 24 months. Your coursework will cover topics ranging from research design, statistics and critical assessments of scientific literature, to oral medicine, facial pain, and oral and maxillofacial pathology. You’ll also attend weekly seminars, weekly morbidity and mortality rounds, journal club, and case presentations.

When it’s time for your two-week clinical rotations, you’ll work at University Hospitals (UH) Cleveland Medical Center, Seidman Cancer Center and other affiliated hospitals. Available rotations include internal medicine; ear, nose and throat; radiation; oncology; medical oncology; pediatr
