Staff from University Technology’s ([U]Tech) Teaching + Learning Technologies team will host one-hour workshops on Turnitin this spring.
Turnitin is ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµâ€™s digital plagiarism detection tool. Accessed through Canvas, the tool helps ensure student academic writing submissions are free of unintentional or intentional plagiarism.
During the workshops, attendees will learn how to:
- Set up Turnitin assignments in Canvas;
- Use different versions of the tool; and
- Interpret results of the Turnitin reports.
Upcoming workshops will be held:
- Thursday, Feb. 21, from 9 to 10 a.m. in Clark Hall, Room 103;
- Monday, March 4, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Nord Hall, Room 206; and
- Friday, March 15, from noon to 1 p.m. in DeGrace Hall, Room 312.
