Nursing instructor Craig “Denny” King earns second place at American Psychiatric Nurses Association national poster competition
Craig “Denny” King, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC, an instructor at Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, earned second place in the Practice Poster Competition at the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) National Conference in October. His poster, which examined patterns of cannabis use, was developed through collaborative work with the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services Substance Use Disorder Center of Excellence.
King’s recognition reflects both the scholarly rigor of his project and his sustained commitment to improving understanding of substance use issues within psychiatric mental health nursing. His work contributes to ongoing efforts to inform clinical practice, enhance care delivery and strengthen interdisciplinary approaches to addressing substance use disorders.
