The holidays are approaching, and the women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. are hosting a winter collection drive for families in need. Members of the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ community are encouraged to donate clothing items, which will be donated to local shelters throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
New (and gently used) clothing items accepted include:
- Winter jackets and coats;
- Scarves;
- Hats;
- Gloves;
- Winter boots and other shoes;
- Professional clothing; and
- Blankets.
Those who wish to contribute to the collection drive also can donate new (and unopened) hygiene items, including:
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes;
- Mouthwash and floss;
- Deodorant;
- Lotions and body cream;
- Facial wash;
- Shampoo and conditioner;
- Body wash and boxed soap;
- Hand soap and sanitizer;
- Razors and shaving cream; and
- Menstrual products.
Additional drop-off dates have been added. Donations can be made today (Dec. 5) from noon to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Student Organization Center in Tinkham Veale University Center.
