The university has a Foreign Travel Policy, which provides insurance and various assistance programs to faculty, staff, and students while traveling out of the country on university business or in the scope of their educational experience. This policy is designed to assist university employees and students while traveling in foreign countries and is provided at no cost.
Prior to traveling internationally or on behalf of CWRU, please complete the registration process with the Office of International Affairs.
By registering international trips, you receive several benefits, including:
- Security in knowing that CWRU is prepared to assist the traveler in the event of an emergency during travel.
- Information about, and registration for, CWRU's medical emergency insurance policy that covers international travelers while they are abroad on university business.
Questions and requests for insurance identification cards can be directed to riskmanagement@case.edu.
