Undergraduate Greek Community Educational Consultants (GCEC)
The Greek Community Educational Consultants (GCEC) create a culture in the CWRU Greek community that fosters holistic academic achievement, a flourishing pursuit of knowledge, and the mutual application of classroom learning to the Greek experience.
Position Requirements
Candidates for the GCEC position should be of sophomore or junior academic standing and have a demonstrated interest in supporting students and promoting lifelong learning. Applicants must maintain a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher, work effectively with others, and possess the ability to both formulate and execute a strategic vision. Successful candidates will be thoughtful, collaborative, and motivated to make a positive impact within the Greek community.
Position Terms
The GCEC position is a contracted role for the academic year, with the potential for renewal based on performance evaluation. Consultants are compensated through bi-weekly paychecks and are expected to work approximately 10 hours per week, with a minimum of 5 hours. GCECs are directly supervised by the Greek Life staff, participate in regular trainings and meetings, and are expected to maintain a professional presence within the office while serving as a role model for their peers.

Graduate Greek Life Assistant Positions
The Greek Life Assistant (GLA) is a 10-month live-in position that assists the Greek Life staff in completion of activities and tasks involving the administration and operation of the building, serves as a resource and paraprofessional counselor, monitors and documents student conduct, and reports and monitors building operations within an assigned facility. The GLA assists the chapter by working with the chapter's leadership, executive board, and individual members. The time commitment of the position is 10 hours per week, with 8 of those hours being in the office and 2 of those working within the houses. Application Requirements
- All applicants must have obtained a bachelor's degree prior to the Fall 2025 academic semester to qualify for the graduate staff positions, or are in the final year of a bachelors/masters degree program.
- GLAs are preferred to be enrolled as a part-time/full-time degree-seeking graduate student.
- GLAs must be available to work 10 hours per week (8 in office, 2 in apartment)
- Graduate staff will limit outside employment to graduate assistantships, CWRU student employment, or part-time work that does not exceed a total of 20 hours per week excluding academic recesses.
- Applicants must be available to work the complete term of this position (August 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027). If your graduate program conflicts with the contract dates, please notify in writing to jws149@case.edu.

Recommendation Forms
Candidates are asked to submit the names of two recommenders in the online application. We suggest that your recommendations come from people who are familiar with aspects of community living and can speak to your abilities to be a graduate staff member. Recommendations from family and relatives will not be accepted.
Candidates are responsible for requesting the recommendations and directly sending the to their recommenders.
