His father’s career led Saintignon’s family to live in such varied places as Arizona, Mexico, the Kingdom of Bahrain and California during his childhood, leading him to learn how to be open-minded and comfortable in new environments.
  • Supersonic science: ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ to conduct 9,000 mph ballistics tests into water tank

    Sometime next summer, on the second floor of a research building on the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ campus, scientists hope to record something the world has never witnessed: The moment of impact when an 18-millimeter-diameter projectile hits a wall of water at 9,000 miles per hour.
